My client is in search for a senior accountant from the financial/ Investment environment that is analytical and loves to interrogate numbers. This candidate will

assist with the processing and review of financial transactions and the maintenance of financial records as well as assist with governance, risk and compliance activities as required. They will also assist with the implementation of strategic deliverables. The role entails full function accounting including fund accounting, maintenance of asset register, financial reporting (including data analysis) and assist with update of funds cashflows.

The job requires a perfectionist who has an innate need to get things right and prefers to deal with things rather than people. Formulae, facts, logic and system are also important aspects of the position.

Job Experience & skills Required:

Completed BCom
6 years’ financial / management accounting experience
Experience in accounting in the financial services sector
Processing financial transactions in the corporate finance / merchant banking sector
Analytical
