SUMMARY:
Our client in the Agricultural Sector is looking for a Production Officer to join their team in Potchefstroom.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Degree in Agriculture or relevant tertiary qualification
SANSOR Training Modules
3 - 5 years production management experience in seed production
Fluent in Afrikaans and English
Experience in the following:
- Management of company's production process
- Monitor seed growers and seed production on crops
- Plant and control inspections on units
- Distribution of mother seeds
- Harvest, dispatch, processing and packaging of crops
- Registration of units and inspection reports with regards to seed certifications
- Seed sampling
- Inspect crops in line with SANCOR regulations and the Legislation on seeds
- Parent seed stock controlling
