SUMMARY:

Security Manager – Pietermaritzburg

POSITION INFO:

Our client is looking to recruit a senior security manager to join their established concern in PMB.

Responsibilities:

• Perimeter fence management; inspections and overseeing work done on fences
• Access control; monitoring the database, procedure management, stress tests and maintenance
• SOP procedures; ensuring the procedures file is up-to-date, training staff, revision of policies and making necessary amendments
• Security systems; making sure that CCTV systems are in proper working order, monitoring the enerigzer systems, control room systems, fence alarms and access control systems are in proper working condition
• Contract management, rule enforcement and disaster management
• Maintaining and enforcing Health and Safety regulations
• Budget control and required administration

• Matric and a Tertiary Qualification in Security Management and Safety Management
• 10-years’ experience in a similar role
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans both written and spoken
• Valid driver’s license
• Computer literacy in the full Microsoft Office Suite
• Detail orientated with excellent interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
