SUMMARY:
Sales of services & products to prospective clients, to achieve established sales targets. Requires experience within a tech sales position. Self-starter with proven track record in B2B sales, quote generation & tender preparation, building sales funnel, canvassing, have sound business acumen, be results driven & hungry for success.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Role Responsibility and requirements:

Effective management of sales and sales canvassing within the integrated business unit

Identification of potential new business opportunities through consultation and cooperation with operational team, planned prospecting, hotly following up on leads, cold calling, and own network / database of contacts.

Arrange and conduct meetings with new and existing business prospects, in conjunction with operational team with a view to tailor creating integrated solutions best suited to the client

Conduct / arrange site surveys to identify risks and develop appropriate solutions to meet client needs

Prepare and submit sales proposals / tenders to prospective clients.

Prepare and conduct sales presentations (advanced MS Excel and MS PowerPoint essential)

Effective performance of Sales and Marketing administrative functions

Co-ordinate public relations activities ie trade shows and exhibitions, company sponsored events, and the control and distribution of corporate gifts and branded items

Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on Sales and Marketing activities

Preparation and submission of monthly report to Management

Reports to include accurate information on new and lost business, organic growth etc.

Keep abreast and advise management of sales activities, competitors, and client needs.


Requirements:

Minimum 5 years B2B sales experience

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification

Sales / marketing / tech qualification advantageous

Minimum of 3 yrs. integrated services sales experience

Proven track record in business development and successful closing

Excellent computer literacy, including MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint (Microsoft Office)

Relevant knowledge and experience in the selling of technical solutions

Excellent communication and customer satisfaction skills

Good telephone etiquette

Strong leadership, time management, initiative skills and administration skills

Must be target driven and well presented

Own Vehicle & Driver’s License

Clean disciplinary, credit and criminal record

Ability to travel widely for business

Proven track record of delivery of sales strategy and meeting / exceeding targets

PSIRA Grade E
