Security Risk Officer

POSITION INFO:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Adopt an initiative geared towards Integrated Operational Excellence
• Safeguard Client’s employees, assets and products
• Implement plans aimed at prevention of loss of product and other criminal acts
• Investigate all security risk related incidents
• Provide accurate reporting of all security incidents and security risks
• Ensure all security systems are operational and maintained
• Monitoring of process and burglar alarms to ensure ensuring protection and trend analysis with
regard to process alarms
• Ensure that all security risk reporting is aligned with standards, guidelines and schedules

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• PSIRA Grade B Registered
• Level of Secondary Education - Matric
• National Diploma Security Risk Management
• Working knowledge of Security Risk Management principles and practices
• NQF 6 Formal Security Qualification is mandatory
• At least 2 accredited risk assessment training courses
• 10 years of direct tactical officer experience in the Security Industry
• Knowledge of the Security Industry regulations including Operational and Client requirements
