SUMMARY:
Manufacturing Company based in Gauteng is looking for a Security Manager ASAP. Contract

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Manage the security portfolio for the Company.
Ensure security standards are formulated and implemented.
Conduct Investigations into all matters related to theft, fraud, etc
Conduct regular threat risk assessments.
Manage the division’s budget.
Management of physical security, asset protection, product protection and most importantly, people protection.
Conducting risk assessments to evaluate security standards and implementing improvement measures (scoring matrices combined with continuous improvement methods).
Management of third party security service suppliers (including of contract negotiations, etc).
Conducting and overseeing all investigations, both internal and external.
Security training.
Budget management.
Presenting at evidentiary hearings (company disciplinarians, CCMA, criminal court, etc).
Assessing and overseeing all projects related to security (e.g. establishing control rooms, CCTV installations, vehicle monitoring, etc).
Drafting and implementing of all policies and procedures as they relate to security standards, best practices and adherence to compliance standards.
Management of anonymous tipoff line.
Last, but not least, building relations with all relevant stakeholders, internal as well as external (local management / staff, law enforcement agencies, intelligence agencies, industry experts, etc)

Criminology Degree

Contract position, 5 days a week
