SUMMARY:
Estate in the Franschhoek area is seeking to employ an Infrastructure & Security Technician with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with people at all levels.

POSITION INFO:

Duties:

Setup, troubleshoot & maintenance of all security systems
Preventative maintenance of network cabinets & field boxes
Supervision of Technical Maintenance Team
Scheduling of worksheets and timing attendance
Liaising with control room & contractors
Operating of network & electric tester
Troubleshoot network issues
Check/monitor all security system servers and workstations
Check DSTV day to day
Administration (keep information of the systems and devices on the site up to date)

Requirements:

Grade 12 and Tertiary Diploma
3-5 years’ experience in Security System roles
Valid driver’s license

CCTV (IP system) training (Bosch)
Alarm system training (Dsc panels) - (watch manager software)
Fire system training (Bosch)
Biometrics training (impro ixp400)
Electric fence training (Nemtek)
Doorphone training (IP7, Accentronix)
Basic network skills
Own transport essential
Strong leadership skills
Excellent communication skills and writing ability (English & Afrikaans)
