Securities Lending Trader

Investment Management team seeks a Securities Lending Trader to join their team.  You'll be responsible for all aspects of securities lending and collateral management. This role is suited to an experienced hire, as it needs a strong candidate with the ability to provide subject matter advice and take ownership of this space.

Responsibilities:

• Daily margin management
• Booking loans and returns
• Corporate action management
• Preparation of monthly billings and fees
• Optimal management of cash collateral
• Daily exposure reconciliations
• Management of securities lending mandate and daily availability of lendable securities
• Loan and return settlement process with CSDP
• Manage recalls
• Client reporting

Requirements:

• Minimum of a BComm or similar completed tertiary qualification
• Minimum of 5 years' experience relevant securities trading experience with advanced SLAMS knowledge
• Must have advanced MS Excel skills and a preference for candidates with Hiport
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• High attention to detail and
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Highly analytical with strong technical skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
