SUMMARY:
Our international client is on the hunt for a Seafreight Director or National Seafreight Manager, dependent on experience. Based in their head office, our client boasts excellent employee benefits and a lucrative bonus structure.
POSITION INFO:
Our client is looking for an extremely strong seafreight head who will be responsible for achieving and exceeding budgets, negotiating with carriers at a high-level, support their respective national teams and conduct strategy sessions to support growth for the seafreight division of South Africa.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 15 years’ experience in seafreight operations, of which at least 10 years must have been in a senior management capacity leading large, multi-site or national teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in commerce/business at NQF level 7 or a FIATA diploma.
- A business-related post graduate programme highly advantageous.
