SUMMARY:
Our client, a leader in the Logistics industry, has an opportunity available for a Sea/Airfreight Controller to be based at their operations in Cape Town.

This role is responsible for the execution of the complete imports and exports cycle from estimate to invoicing for both air and sea.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Requirements:

Sound Knowledge of Incoterms
Sound Knowledge and understanding of practices and processes within the air and sea freight environment
Excellent Communication both written / verbal at all levels
Ability to Liaise with freight agents
Ability to Liaise with transporters, airlines, shipping lines and other third parties
Ability to work in a team as well as independently
Ensure compliance by checking that documents have been provided by the agents/client and that they are accurate for clearance
CARGOWISE EXPERIENCE would be a plus
