POSITION INFO:

A large company operating within the Logistics industry is looking for an Imports Controller to join their team. If you are the ideal candidate for this vacancy, please apply!

Qualifications:

Relevant university degree and/or equivalent qualification
Previous working experience in freight, imports and/or exports
Advanced Incoterms 2020 skills are non-negotiable

Job description & Skills:

Managing all freight files and/or data form the forwarding department
Facilitate the approval of shipping lines and cartage invoices
Liaising with all the shipping lines and transporters to negotiate rates and/or services
Conduct necessary credit checks of all suppliers and clients
Ensure that that cheque requisitions and month files are signed off
Oversee the quality of all sea, hand-over, cross trade files, and shipments
Ensuring that all client queries are resolved
Assist with all ad hoc activities required by management
