Sea Imports Controller

SUMMARY:
Our client in the shipping service industry has an opportunity available for a Sea Imports Controller, to be based in the Germiston area.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

• Matric/Grade 12
• Must have Sea Imports Experience in a freight agent currently.
• Must have experience with Exports Sea, Air and Road as well, including incoterms 2020
• Must be able to submit and frame own customs documents
• Must have current Cargowise experience

Duties:

• Opening of all sea freight files from forwarding department.
• Responsible for resolving client queries.
• Meeting with shipping lines and transporters to negotiate rates and service.
• Responsible for signing of cheque requisitions.
• Approval of shipping line and cartage invoices.
• Quality auditing for all sea, hand over and cross trade files /shipments.
