Scrap Supervisor

PLEASE NOTE: THIS POSITION IS IN ISITHEBE 100 kms North of Durban

This position supports the operations objectives of overseeing the processing of raw materials as well as hyster operations

Rebond:

• Ensure staff are performing in their correct roles
• Ensure random checks on chemical mixture
• Ensure accurate stock take stats are taken
• Daily count of blocks is require and plan accordingly for blocks to be manufactured.
• Ensure partial blocks are used in production and issuing of full blocks to production needs to be measured daily.
• Submit block production schedule to planning on daily basis.

Block Store:

• Daily stock checks are required.
• Ensure blocks are cut for the respective departments at the required sizes.
• Ensure all blocks received from foam plant are weighed, captured correctly and marked.
• Ensure all cut blocks are weighed and marked correctly and stats captured.
• Ensure all hyster operators are present and are delegated to the respective departments as well as they comply with their hyster safety measures.
• Ensure hyster operators do their pre start and shut down checks.
• Manage blocks going into production.
• Give over runs, stock listings to be sold.
• Ensure accurate stock take stats are taken and manage the process.
• Ensure proper block planning for production.

Scrap

• Ensure all scrap are measured at all departments and stats captured correctly.
• Ensure all departments / sites are kept empty of scrap.
• Ensure accurate stock take stats taken and captured, as well as manage the process.

Matric

Tertiary qualification in Production

2 years minimum production or manufacturing experience
