School Shop Manager - Midlands

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client is looking for a dedicated person to join their team.

Duties:

Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills enabling successful engagement with parents, College staff members, and pupils.
The ability to deliver consistently high-quality personal service.
Appropriate levels of bookkeeping knowledge and relevant practical experience in operating a small business.
The ability to plan for key sales periods and ensure that there is adequate stock on hand throughout the year; will entail liaising with designated suppliers and placing orders.
The ability to take responsibility for and undertake all the administrative processing associated with the operation, including the timely and accurate processing of all purchasing (the creditor), sales (the debtor), and inventory (stock) transactions per established procedures.
Attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks is considered vital to the success of the operation.
A valid driver’s license is essential.
Experience in managing a small team of staff. The team consists of three staff inclusive of the Manager.
