SUMMARY:
Savoury Development Technologist - Midrand

POSITION INFO:

To assist the research and development team in the developing and application of food flavours and food colours as per our customers’ requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

ØNational Diploma in Food Technology or similar.

Ø3-5 years’ work in Savoury Product Develop – Compounding and Formulation Development.

ØPrevious work experience on Savoury Flavour Development and Application.

ØGood Project Management and Communication skills.

ØComputer literate.

ØMust be a self-starter and take ownership of assigned projects.

ØExcellent attention to detail.

Ø

Duties & Responsibilities:

ØDevelopment sweet and savoury flavours suitable for specific applications.

ØDevelopment of product application formulations.

ØCompounding of samples.

ØSourcing and evaluation of new raw materials.

ØProviding technical support to internal and external customers.

ØConducting sensory panels on development projects.

ØCo-ordinate and run development trials with customers.

ØMaintain and compile technical documentation for products developed.
