The Role: Sales/Account Manager
The purpose of this role is to perform South African-based business development to expose client brands and products on the company platform. The role focuses on signing merchants and creating deal structures to provide the UK consumer base with discounted products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Cold call 50 to 150 businesses daily to sign merchants.
- Consistently achieve sales targets and KPIs including a minimum of 80 B2B calls a day.
- Create appealing deal structures, price points, pitches, and presentations.
- Negotiate with merchants at all levels and handle objections effectively.
- Engage with new prospective clients and provide information regarding products and services.
- Establish and manage client relationships to build rapport and grow the client base.
- Maintain a professional and confident representation of the company.
About You
- B2B sales experience.
- Experience in onboarding clients in a Merchant Sales Arena.
- Experience on an online platform where goods are sold.
- Tech-savvy with experience working on a CRM.
- E-commerce relationship management experience.
