Sales and Ops (EL, PE & George)

We have a vacancy for a Sales and Ops within the food industry available in Port Elizabeth

Duties:

• Determine sourcing requirements with demand and forecasting input from the sales department, management, and sales history. Maintain the Inventory Forecasting Module. Liaise with CP and provide accurate information on stock availability and ETAs.
• Transport arrangements for inbound stock to be cost-effective and managed.
• Aim to hold minimum stock levels while meeting demand and drive initiatives to reduce stockholding.
• Request Repair P/O and follow through on invoicing to customers for technical repairs.
• Manage back orders and process RTPs for stock and non-stock as required.
• Follow up on RTP processed.
• Aim for minimal out of stocks.
• Drive initiatives to reduce slow moving and excess stock along with Ops Manager.
• Communicate between Sales and Operations to ensure efficiencies.
• Process All Sales Quotations before GM approval.
• Customer Contract pricing and list pricing maintenance. (Selling ABC prices)
• Manage pre-printed stationery
• New AP accounts opening
• Supplier Invoice authorization preparation.
• Managed through the Open Price Check and Calc ODBC, available on SharePoint
• Be the branch petty cash custodian.
• All other Adhoc functions relating to inventory management and sales and operations as required.

Requirements:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• Administrative
• Financial accounting background
• Computer literate (Syspro 6, MS Office/ Q Docs)
• Supplier chain & logistics management qualifications
• Intermediate to advanced excel
• High in English competency.
