Sales and Marketing Assistant

SUMMARY:
Do you have experience assisting in a sales and marketing sector? We require your creativity, good eye for detail, administration, social media, digital/content marketing skills? Photoshop/Illustrator advantageous. Excellent opportunity to assist the Sales & Marketing Manager of an International Company in the deep south to improve brand visibility and assist with sales & marketing functions.

POSITION INFO:

 REQUIREMENTS

Own transport and driver’s license.

Bachelor’s degree (or relevant experience)

1-2 years similar work experience

Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, & social media marketing

Ability to travel occasionally

Excellent writing and communication skills

Confident with excellent people skills

Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite

Experience in Adobe Illustration and Photoshop will be advantageous

Creative with an eye for detail and design

Energetic and willing to grow and learn in the position

DUTIES

Maintain a directory and inventory of all marketing material, ensuring all resources are current and accurate, and coordinate the creation of new materials as required

Work with Sales & Marketing Manager to conduct research to analyse market trends.

Plan and manage conferences and trade shows by identifying, assembling and coordination of requirements

Establishing contacts, developing schedules and coordinating mailing list

Annual calendar design and organisation

Ensuring the company website is up to date and facilitating any updates and changes needed

Create and manage company LinkedIn page

Amend and alter image requirements

Keeping contacts list up to date

Liaising with clients and following-up on client queries and quotes

Generating quotes and tenders

Maintaining necessary client experience summaries

Drafting tenders according to tender specifications along with the Sales & Marketing Manager

Salary: R15 – 20k CTC inclusive of benefits, dependent on experience
