POSITION INFO:

SALES REPRESENTATIVE WITHIN THE TYRE INDUSTRY

Our client is one of the largest tyre service providers in Southern Africa and was established in 1948. They sell new multi-branded tyres and manufacture retreads for tyres, wheels, and allied services to cater for their customers’ needs. They deliver these products and services via an extensive countrywide branch and retread factory network, on-site facilities and a 24/7 network co-ordinated through a central call centre.

They are looking for a Sales Representative to be based in Bloemfontein to service existing customer accounts to ensure customer needs identified are met, customer service excellence is maintained, and to identify and obtain new business.

Key Requirements:

• Preference will be given to previously disadvantaged persons.
• Competencies:
• Good interpersonal skills and assertive negotiator at management level
• Effective communication, selling and negotiating skills
• Ability to work independently as a self-starter within the team
• Go Getter
• A passion to succeed in a challenging environment
• A minimum of 5 years in the tyre industry, preferably in Commercial tyres and OTR tyres.

Responsibilities:

• Execute plans to service customers and meet agreed annual sales budgets
• Plan and Implement administrative and procedures to ensure customer needs are according to the company’s standards and procedures
• Develop and improve customer base
• Manage yourself as if it is your own business to improve personal effectiveness

Qualifications:

Minimum: Grade 12 (Matric)

Salary:

• TCTC - Includes medical aid and pension fund
• Will also receive a vehicle, petrol card, cellphone and laptop over and above the TCTC.
