Industrial Automation External Sales

POSITION INFO:

Job Duties and responsibilities:
• Quotations
• Following up on quotes on a weekly basis
• Liaising with customers on a daily basis.
• Data Capturing and updating existing customer database.
• Data Capturing into a CRM system and/or using the CRM Phone app.
• Processing Orders and Invoicing
• Research on new customers, analyse market needs and develop account
   strategies.
• Reach achievable sales targets and growing sales.
• Attend weekly sales meetings to discuss customer status.
• Achieve weekly meeting target and KPI’s.
• Cold calling
• Attend tender meetings.
• Reports to sales manager.
• Continuous Business development
• Stock take and arranging for a parcel collection.

Candidate Requirements:
• South African Citizen and valid ID book
• Minimum 5 Years external sales experience in an industrial automation 
   industry (Proved track record)
• Minimum qualification level:
• Qualification Level advantage: Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical diploma
   and/or degree.
• Computer/Industrial Networking background
• Confident and eloquent and well-spoken on the telephone
• Detail-orientated and works with a high degree of accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills
• Positive attitude and highly motivated
• Excellent computer, typing, MS Office skills (Good presentation skills)
• Excellent command of the English language
• Reliable car and valid driver’s license
• Must be willing and able to travel 
• Sound understanding of :
• Industrial Automation-PLC, HMI/SCADA, Servo, Encoders, Serial 
  Connectivity.
• AC Drives, uses thereof and application, AC Motors.
• IP surveillance and Remote Automation.
