SUMMARY:
Our nationally based client is looking for a Sales Representative to represent their company in Cape Town. We need you to promote their imported and locally manufactured flooring, carpets, vinyl, etc. to both existing and potential clients.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

START DATE :           A.S.A.P / IMMEDIATE

DUTIES:

Generate leads
Cold calling
Meet or exceed sales goals
Negotiate all contracts with prospective clients
Help determine pricing schedules for quotes, promotions and negotiations
Prepare weekly and monthly reports
Give sales presentations to prospective clients
Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs
Understand and promote company products
Prepare and submit sale contracts for orders
Visit clients and potential clients to evaluate and promote products – 6 weekly rotational basis
Maintain client records
Answer client questions regarding pricing, product and availability

REQUIREMENTS:

Computer Literate
Familiar with Cape Town and surrounds
Prepared to travel daily – 6-week client visit cycle
Experience with Massmart, Cashbuild, Build It, Buco, Mica, independent owned hardware & furniture stores
Goal driven – meet targets
Well-spoken and bi-lingual (Eng / Afr)
Able to work independently
