Sales Representative (SMP)

SUMMARY:
Our client in the East Rand is looking to fill a position for Sales Representative (Battery Marketing)

POSITION INFO:

To procure business from new and existing customers, manage agents and ensure sound relationships with the entire customer base.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Building sound customer relationships (ongoing).
• Technical advice and training – including presentations.
• Checking of batteries, voltages and SG’s.
• Measuring of battery compartments for forklifts.
• Soliciting new customers.
• Handling of customer complaints and queries.
• Management of budgets – sales and expenses.
• Follow-up on deliveries.

Education & Experience

• Grade 12 with an electrical or mechanical qualification.
• 2 to 4 years related sales experience is essential.
• Preference would be given to candidates with a college certificate/diploma in Sales & Marketing
• Strong Communication Skills
• Good computer skills - Excel, MS Word, good sales track record.
• Valid Code 08 drivers licence.
• PSS course, technical testing and workings of battery (advantage)
