Our national client is seeking to employ an experienced FMCG sales representative to cover the PE - Graaff Reinet - Garden Route area.

Notes :

• A car allowance (R5k), cell phone allowance and a very healthy commission is offered - no basic salary is offered.
• An existing and expansive client base will be provided to the successful candidate.

Job Summary:

Reporting into the Area Sales Manager, the aim of this function is to service an existing customer base in the Port Elizabeth Region.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Service the needs of existing customers and collecting customer feedback
• Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction
• Merchandising and adhering to the required merchandising standards and/or layouts of stores
• Responsible for the achievement of sales targets and goals
• Maintain and increase sales for the business
• Establish, maintain and expand customer base
• Building the brand and negotiating the best possible space and exposure

• Identifying business opportunities and opening new accounts

• Returns management by monitoring and controlling returns
• Assist with trade shows, deliver stock as and when required
• Compiling sales figures and analysing sales figures and report shortfalls to Area Manager
• Logging daily customer contact on CRM

• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12 with exemption pass
• Minimum 3-5 years’ FMCG Sales Rep experience
• Valid code 08 drivers’ licence
• Own reliable vehicle
• Must be willing to travel and sleep out as and when required
• FMCG sales experience essential
• Computer literate
