Sales Representative - Main Market

SUMMARY:
Johannesburg. Opportunity exists for determined, dedicated Sales Representative with solid Main Market experience to join dynamic leaders within the Alcohol distribution industry.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

• Conduct daily sales calls with existing customers in the sales region and continuously expand the customer database
• Analyse the sales trends in the area to identify new opportunities or potential risks before the risks can impact the area''s sales performance
• Establish sales targets for area and develop a sales strategy to ensure that sales target is achieved
• Actively seek sustainable sales solutions and recruit new customers to expand the market share
• Monitor competitor activities and products in the market
• Achieve the required strike rates for customer visits per day, as well as customer''s sales made for the day
• Negotiate, implement, and maintain agreed upon forward share throughout area with the necessary POS implementation
• Provide timeous and complete reports to the Sales Manager
• Develop and maintain good relationships with existing and potential customers
• Assist the marketing team and Sales Manager with organising local promotional events such as festivals, promotions, trade shows, etc.
• Identify advertising opportunities across the brand portfolio
• Increase the overall visibility and shelf presence of the brands in the sales area
• Provide brand training and product knowledge to customers and their staff, and relevant stakeholders in your area
