Sales Representative - Ingredient and Chemicals supplies

SUMMARY:
An established food ingredient and chemical supplier based in the Northern Suburbs is seeking to employ a driven Sales Representative to join their team. You will be responsible for the execution of sales strategy and managing a portfolio of clients to achieve profitable growth.

POSITION INFO:

Responsibilities:

• New Business development within the region.
• Managing accounts and key accounts, developing, and implementing key account plans and strategies to ensure sales targets and objectives are met.
• Achieve sales targets.
• Regular customer visits.
• Establishing and maintaining strong customer relationships.
• Submitting accurate and appropriate customer visit reports, call sheets.
• Identifying and resolving all customer issues.
• Price negotiations.
• Preparing quotations monthly.
• Stock forecasting.
• Liaising closely with Branch Managers and Sales Director in terms of market trends.
• Monitoring market developments to identify and assess potential new customers and opportunities and developing marketing and business strategies.
• Preparing market surveys.
• Submitting sales and related reports / doing presentations.
• Managing all samples to customer and provide sufficient feedback.
• All document and questionnaires to be managed and submitted accordingly.
• Develop technical expertise to become industry specialist.
• Ensuring all purchase orders are processed timeously and correctly.

• Matric / Tertiary qualification will be advantageous.
• Driver’s license.
• Clean criminal and credit record.
• Solid working track record.
• Experience in sales in a similar industry will be advantageous.
• Target driven and able to close a deal.
• Self-motivated and great people interaction skills.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.

• Basic Salary.
