Up-and-coming craft distillery requires an experienced and mature Sales Rep with a stable track record of building and maintaining solid customer relations within the retail and hospitality sectors.
 
Responsibilities:
Call on potential clients (Retail, Hospitality/ restaurants, bottle stores), telephonic and face to face visits
Coordinate in store marketing and promotions to drive sales and establish the brands
Achieve brand recognition through various marketing activities
Network with marketing and promotions companies WRT the participation in events/ festivals/ tastings etc.
Place orders on behalf of customers and ensure delivery time frames are met by liaising with supply chain
Reach and exceed KPI’s/ Targets
 
Ensure that administration is complete and updated at all times:
Database management (Contact sheets; logging of calls and client meetings)
Daily, weekly and monthly reporting on sales and KPI’s
Place orders on behalf of customers and ensure delivery time frames are met by liaising with supply chain
Assist with debtor’s control and recovery as per terms agreed upon with the customer and company
 
Requirements:
Relevant Sales or Marketing qualification is an advantage
5+ years’ experience as a Sales Rep or similar within the liquor/ beverage industry
Extensive knowledge of the South African retail industry
Valid Driver’s license with own reliable transport
