SUMMARY:
Our Client in the Petroleum and Gas Sector is looking to employ a Sales Representative in the Commercial & Agri Sales Department. Position based in Markman, Port Elizabeth

JOB DESCRIPTION:

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
To maintain and grow current business
Identify and respond to new business opportunities pro-actively as to ensure growth, and set a high standard for excellent customer service and for the brand.
We are looking for a sales representative to represent the company brand in the market by looking after an existing
client base as well as meeting targets for new business set out by management.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Facilitate achievement of agreed targets in the region and by always driving sales performance
Report to Commercial Manager, changes in strategic direction, structures, and operating models in order ensure transparent communication and effective operation within the region
Identify and manage creation of new business opportunities for the region to expand the market
Ensure that all operations are in line with the company’s policies
Prepare monthly and quarterly annual forecasts
Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
Accountability for GP margins and targets

QUALIFICATIONS

Tertiary Sales and Marketing diploma/degree advantageous
Matric certificate

EXPERIENCE:

3-5 years’ experience within the petroleum industry/external sales experience

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Word / Excel / PowerPoint)
Must have valid drivers licence

Company Car + Cellphone and Fuel Allowance provided
