Sales Representative ( Food Sevices sector)

SUMMARY:
A company based in Kaya Sands is looking for an outbound sales rep for the Food Service industry. NB!!! Please do not apply should you not meet the below requirements

POSITION INFO:

Must have experience selling into Food Service, Hospitality and Food Manufacturing industries

Responsibilities:

• Sell to selected existing customers and develop relationships
• Plan daily activities, and provide daily recap of results and accomplishments to management team
• Contact new and existing customers to meet and exceed sales objectives
• Deliver exceptional customer service
• Participate in sales meetings, on-site training, and remain educated in company policy and industry trends and developments
• Negotiate and use persuasion skills to overcome objections

The Sales Representative acts as the first point of contact with the customer, portraying professionalism and confidence that delivers the ultimate in customer service; to build and maintain an active customer base and develop new sales leads. By applying sales skills the Sales Representative will capitalise on commercial opportunities through negotiation of prices in order to achieve the sales targets set by the Management Team.

Experience

1. Must have at least 5years sales experience
2. 2.     Food Industry experience a must - This is a selection criteria
3. Own transport and valid driver’s license
4. Computer literate
5. Ability to cold call
6. Customer service skills
7. You must be able to provide information about the products you are selling
8. Must be based in Gauteng
9. Own vehicle
10. Tertiary education not necessary, but an advantage
