SUMMARY:
KZN. Large, established company within the FMCG sector seeks self-motivated, driven Sales Representative with solid FMCG knowledge and experience. Sales experience in the Agricultural / Horticultural field an advantage.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Responsibilities:

Build and maintain effective customer relations
Contact new and existing customers to discuss their needs, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products
Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, or credit terms
Maintain customer records using automated systems
Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences
Implement and facilitate in store training on the new and excising products
Quote prices, advice on credit terms, or other bid specifications
Prepare sales contracts for orders obtained and submit orders for processing
Develop accurate call reports weekly and submit it to the Sales Manager every Friday

Requirements:

Must have valid drivers licence and own reliable car
FMCG knowledge and experience essential
Minimum Matric
Experience in sales within the Agricultural / Horticultural field
Fully proficient in English and / or Afrikaans
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Basic proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook
Good time management skills essential
