JOB DESCRIPTION:

Technical Sales Representative – electrical

Location: Vaal

Salary: R35 000 – R40 000 basic plus R10 000 car Allowance plus benefits and petrol card

Duties

  • Business Development for electrical products 
  • Develop marketing activities to promote Electrical products
  • To bring in enquiries, follow-up quotations and successfully negotiate orders as well as maintain existing customer relationships and develop new ones
  • Maintain existing customer base.
  • Direct selling to customers (cold calling) and generating new sales leads.
  • Visit assigned customers according to planned calling schedules.
  • Prepare budgets, estimated potential and planned profitability per customer.
  • Actively promote sales of the electrical components, to existing customers and researching new market opportunities.
  • Obtain enquiries, prepare quotations and follow up to conclusion.
  • Develop leads on the electrical Products.
  • React to client needs
  • Prepare and present presentations. 
  • Meet specified sales budget 

Requirements

  • Matric
  • Diploma in marketing/ or any other relevant qualification
  • 3 years minimum sales experience
  • Formal electrical qualification – recognised apprenticeship / diploma will be an advantage.
  • Proven track record of improving sales turnover.
  • Good level of computer literacy, specifically MS. Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • ERP experience is a bonus.
