Sales Representative (Carbon Steel)

SUMMARY:
Carbon Steel wholesaler/Retailer is looking to employ an experienced Sales Representative for the Western Cape

POSITION INFO:
The Company:

The client is a wholesaler and retailer of carbon steel pipes, fittings and flanges.  It operates on a national footprint in the three major cities in South Africa.  Business is done over a number of industries which include mining, water, fire protection, drilling, petro chemical, general engineering.

Scope:

The services is required of a suitable experienced External Sales Representative to represent the company and based in Cape Town. Related industry experience will be an advantage.

Education and Experience:

Minimum of 5 years external sales experience.
Experience in the steel and or related engineering industries.
Minimum qualification Grade 12 but further sales qualifications/courses will be an added advantage.
Proven track record with previous employers.  No job “jumper”
No criminal record
No judgments against him/her
Possess over a valid driver’s license
Preferably a person living in Cape Town or surrounding towns and good knowledge of the region.
Person must be fully bilingual, presentable, self-driven, self-motivated, punctual, good command of speech, good with arithmetic with an outgoing and extrovert personality.
