Sales Representative (Bicycle Industry)

SUMMARY:
Our client within the Bicycle Industry looking for a Sales Representative with previous experience and/or a passion for cycling with a sound knowledge of Bicycle parts and accessories. Must have excellent customer service skills. This individual will be responsible for promoting and expanding the business through the sales of spares and equipment.

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

• Minimum 5 Years external sales experience in the Bicycle Industry.
• Minimum qualification level: Matric Certificate.
• Excellent online communication and computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, Emails).
• Sound understanding of Bicycle parts and accessories.
• Added advantage: Knowledge of the Bicycle Industry and Electric Bicycle Industry.
• Seasonal Forecasting and reporting.
• Confident and well-spoken on the telephone.
• Positive attitude and motivated.
• Reliable car and valid driver’s license.
• Must be willing and able to travel periodically based on customer and business needs.
• Attend to digital marketing, supply advertising, and/or content creation.
• Timeous delivery of orders, processing quotes, and invoices.

• Cold calling and stores visits.
• Continuous Business development and data mining.
• Liaising with customers on a daily basis.
• Reach achievable sales targets and growing sales.
• Research on new customers, analyse market needs, and develop strategies.
• Following up on quotes weekly.
• Data Capturing and updating existing customer database.
• Processing Orders and Invoicing.
• Attend weekly sales meetings to discuss customer status.
• Achieve weekly meeting targets and KPI’s.
• Stocktake, delivery, and collection of spares.
• Stock forecasting for seasonal procurement.
