JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client was founded in 1981 and focuses on manufacturing, marketing and distributing technological animal feed additives, and disinfectant products for animal feed, livestock, and food. They have an exciting permanent TECHNICAL SALES ADVISOR position available in Gauteng.

Despite all the change and growth over the years, one thing that has remained constant is the commitment and dedication of the team. Our staff are our greatest assets, playing a huge part in the success and growth of the company over the years.

Product: Technological animal feed additives.

Market: Animal feed mills and associated industries.

Responsibilities:

Be highly conversant and professional in all technical and conceptual aspects of all products.
Analyse customer needs, recommend suitable products, provide advice, and effectively answer questions/address customer concerns.
Discuss products and explain technical concepts and product uses effectively.
Write customer reports and proposals related to technical product solutions.
Build long-term relationships with the customer base to establish loyalty
Identify new opportunities and grow the customer base.
Track sales and share monthly sales reports with the management team.
Research current market trends and identify new product developments and feedback to the management team.

Requirements:

Education: Grade12 plus a relevant degree or diploma (BCom / BSc preferable).
Experience: Minimum of 4 years experience within a Technical Sales environment.
Must be prepared to travel > 4 000 km and spend 4 nights away each month.
Commercially minded.

Remuneration & Benefits:

R35 000 to R45 000 - this includes basic, commission, provident fund, medical aid and vehicle allowance
