JOB DESCRIPTION:

We have a position available for a Sales Rep in the Gauteng North area in the Petroleum industry, to maintain and grow current busines, identify and respond to new business opportunities pro-actively as to ensure growth, and set a high standard for excellent customer service and for the brand.

Requirements:

Matric certificate
Tertiary Sales and Marketing diploma/degree advantageous
3-5 years’ experience within the petroleum industry
Fluent in English and Afrikaans
Pro-active, go-getter, self motivated, confident
Knowledge of petroleum products and specifications
Aware of industry regulations and pricing structures (SANS)
Willingness to travel
Knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications (Word / Excel)

Responsibilities:

Liaising with clients on orders
Placing orders as received from clients and arranging payment of orders
New client service
Identifying new business opportunities
Cold calling experience and proven track record of success herein
Self-motivated and target driven
Building and maintaining excellent client relationships
Able to negotiate and close deals confidently
Facilitate achievement of agreed targets in the region and always driving sales performance
Report to Management, changes in strategic direction, structures, and operating models in order ensure transparent communication and effective operation within the region
Identify and manage creation of new business opportunities for the region to expand the market
Ensure that all operations are in line with the company’s policies
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts
Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients’ needs
Accountability for GP margins and targets

Salary: basic + Commission
