Our client in the packaging industry is urgently looking for an experienced sales representative to join their team

Location: Boksburg, Gauteng

Requirements:

Matric
Sales/Marketing Qualification
3-4 years of sales experience, preferably in the packaging/ manufacturing industry
Must have good interpersonal and negotiation skills
Must have own vehicle and a valid drivers license

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain database qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, cold calling, direct mail, e-mail, and networking.
Develop and implement an agreed-upon marketing strategy with management to meet personal and business goals of expanding customer base.
Responsible for building an effective client relationship with new clients, in order to maintain client.
Conduct an effective sale presentation, close sales.
Stock replenishment checks with preferred customers.
Follow-up on all outstanding customer key accounts.
Report and resolve any customer queries with Accounts Department.
Ensure feedback to Accounts Department and Management.
Quote – accurate, prompt.
Pricing – Cost and Sales Price to be up to date, accurate, and documented correctly on the Job Card.
Presentation of Product Sample – to client specification and company quality standards.
Forecasted production plan and delivery date.
Product Job Card - accurate to date with all necessary documentation and correct Job Number.
Liaise with Internal Sales and hand over all necessary completed documentation.
Follow-Up with Internal Sales/Production and feedback to the client on production progress.
Delivery - follow-up.
Shopware Operational Requirements.
General Administration duties are inherent in the Job Requirement.
Sales Reports as per procedures set by the Company and Management.
Adhere to company ISO standards.
To report any job needs or problems to Direct Manager.
Ensuring that all Company and Industry standards are met for the job.
Adhere to Health and Safety and Housekeeping regulations.
Adhere to Company Policy and Procedures.
To attend company meetings as required.
Be professional and polite.
