THE ROLE – SALES REPRESENTATIVE:

The company wishes to appoint an exciting, dynamic, and ambitious individual to join the Beverage Sales Team in the Gauteng region.

The ideal person is self-motivated and organized, has a positive attitude and the drive to want to succeed in building this new and exciting beverage category in South Africa. The successful incumbent will form part of the company''s beverage division reporting to the National sales manager. needs to be a multi-skilled team player, that is flexible and happy to adapt to a continuously changing environment.

The Sales Representative is tasked with maintaining and growing existing relationships and accounts, as well as targeting new business in the Gauteng Region. Weekly Call Cycles will be established to maximize the time spent in the trade.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Administration:

• Plan a call cycle/route cycle
• Compile weekly reports
• Manage sales and administration
• Handle customer and consumer complaints and queries
• Market research & scoping new customers

Fieldwork:

• Managing S&M teams on the group
• Trade visits & store execution
• Executing on perfect merchandising execution instore
• Managing point of sale
• Managing fridge & other assets in trade
• Building key trade relationships

QUALIFICATIONS, KEY ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Qualifications and Experience required:

• Post Matric Qualification in Sales/Marketing
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in Sales/Marketing in a FMCG environment
• Valid Code 8 drivers’ licence
• Basic knowledge of PC and Microsoft office
• Merchandising experience
• Speak and write English fluently
• Beverage industry experience strongly preferred
• Preference will be give to employees from out the following industries:Â liquor and beverages.Â
