SUMMARY:
Sales Representative PTA

POSITION INFO:

Remuniration:

Basic:  R12 000.00 - R15 000.00

Commission:  Applicable when target is exceeded

Car Allowance:  R4 000.00

Petrol card

Cell phone Allowance: R750.00

Incentive Competitions (Breakaways to local destinations and Mauritius for top performer and partner)

13^th Cheque (Up to Company’s discretion) 

Pension Fund and Funeral cover at fixed % of Basic Salary 

Requirements:

Must reside in the Pretoria area

Preferably Afrikaans (or Bilingual)

Candidate must have their own reliable transport – Tracker will be installed at company’s expense

Training to be attended at Head Office in Johannesburg (candidate will be tested on product knowledge) as well as attending monthly sales meetings at Head Office

SKILLS:

Matric

Literate in English and Afrikaans

Minimum of 3 years Sales Rep experience (experience in FMCG field will be advantageous)

Problem solver

BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:

Self-motivated, organised and responsible (stable work history)

Target driven and proactive

Must be able to work independently and be punctual

Job Description:

An effective sales representative builds repeat sales through strong customer relationships by focusing on customers’ wants and needs.

To work closely with an internal Telesales agent / Trader across entire range of brands, which include (but aren’t limited to) McCain, Tiger Brands, Unilever, Rich and Clover

Will be responsible for:

Working out personal sales strategy and execution

Driving profitable growth and account development

Servicing existing clientele as well as searching for new business opportunities (cold calling)

Following up on sales leads

Ensuring sales targets are me

Handling related administrative tasks

Typical clientele:

Restaurants, Hotels, Lodges, Catering companies and Food outlets

Area to cover: PTA
