POSITION INFO:

My client in the power tools sector is looking for a Junior Sales Representative in Zambia. The successful candidate will bring the right mix of experience and skills to the table to turn leads and prospects into paid users and create long term relationships with client visits. If you have excellent negotiating skills this is the position for you.

Requirements:

• Own transport and valid driver’s license with no infringement or outstanding fines
• Microsoft and computer knowledge
• Experience in a sales environment
• Power tool and Accessory knowledge
• Problem solver and critical thinker
• Communication and presentation skills

 

Qualifications:

• Matric (Grade 12)
• A tertiary qualification in Sales/Marketing will be an advantage

 

Duties include but not limited to:

• Promoting Sales and Products to customers
• Make appointments to meet clients and ensure efficency
• Customer Service
• Advise customers on specials, new products, and prices
• Identify prospects and leads
• Learn technical details about products to explain alternative uses and applications
• Look for opportunities
• Keep orders and follow through
• Track and monitor your work
• Prepare and present weekly reports
• Attend sales educational training, events and expo’s
• Stay up to date with the latest sales trends and best practices.

 

Salary: R5000 Basic + Commission

Benefits: Medical aid 50% and provident fund
