Sales Representative

SUMMARY:
Are you a driven Sales Representative who is successful with bringing in new business within the construction & building industry sector? Our client, a leader in their field is seeking a motivated Sales Representative to join their successful team with calling on new clients using your experience, expertise & client relationships that you have built up within the building & construction industry.

POSITION INFO:

REQUIREMENTS:

Matric or tertiary qualification

Valid Driver’s License

2 – 3 years’ experience in the construction industry

Previous proven sales experience

Strong communication, analytical and problem solving

Excellent negotiation skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure as needed

Detail oriented, strong organisational skills, and high degree of accuracy

DUTIES:

Report to the Managing Director

Present and sell company products and services to potential clients

Prepare action plans and schedules to identify specific targets

Phoning and making appointments with a wide network of new clients

Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity

Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts as assigned 

Establish solid relationships within the building, architecture and construction industry

Identify and resolve client concerns

Manage quotations

Negotiate pricing

Closing of sales successfully

Follow-up for collection of payment

Salary:         R10k basic plus commission, dependent on experience
