Sales Representative

POSITION INFO:
Job Description: As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for promoting and selling a range of fencing and security products to clients in the mining and hardware industries.

This role requires effective communication skills and a strong ability to work under pressure. You will be instrumental in achieving sales targets and expanding market presence.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with existing clients and prospect new clients to increase sales.
• Deliver presentations and demonstrate products to clients.
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements.
• Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities.
• Work collaboratively with the team to achieve business goals.
• Participate in stock takes as required (twice per annum on weekends).
• Manage company-provided resources, including a cell phone and vehicle, for business purposes.

• Proven experience (minimum 2 years) in field sales, specifically within the mining and hardware industries.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual proficiency is an advantage.
• Strong computer literacy; experience with Syspro is beneficial.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a clear focus on high-quality client service.
• Ability to handle the demands of a full work schedule (07:00 to 16:30, Monday to Friday) and additional hours during bi-annual stock takes.
• Valid driver's license and access to personal transportation.

• Probationary period of approximately 3-4 months.
• Basic monthly salary: R16,000.
