Sales Rep - Waste Control / Waste Management

SUMMARY:

A Company based in Cape Town that specializes in waste management, seeks to employ a well-experienced sales representative who understands the industry to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Responsibilities:

• The procurement of new business within the Waste Industry
• Managing the current business
• Daily call reports
• 5 New Account Visits per Day
• Opening 10 New Accounts per Month
• Follow ups on quotations sent
• Knowledge of competitors footprint, customers, environment
• Contacting clients to negotiate terms of agreements and conclude sales
• Reviewing own Sales Performance
• Customer Liaison
• Resolution of customer queries
• Negotiating price, delivery and specifications
• Advice and service to customers
• Gathering Market and Customer information
• Gaining a clear understanding of customers and businesses requirements.

Requirements:

• Sales Or Marketing Related Qualification [Advantageous]
• Computer Literacy
• Min 2-5 Years Sales Experience in the Waste Industry
• Tender Compilation Experience
• Strong Customer Liaison Skills
• Strong Negotiation, Planning, and Organisational Skills
• Strong Knowledge of Waste Management
• Valid Driver’s License

Salary / Offer

• R25 000 monthly
• Vehicle available to travel to clients / diesel supplied
• Commission (to be discussed)
• Provident fund, funeral fund, life cover (paid in full)
• Cost of living allowance
