POSITION INFO:

My client is looking for a seasoned Sales Rep to join their team.

The successful incumbent will be responsible for the growth and market share in the specialised field of electrical energy efficiency and power quality. You will help develop and implement the sales strategy of the company.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Cold calling in targeted market segments

· Use creative methods to increase business development.

· Meet/exceed monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts.

· Extensive experience in cold calling, referrals, cross – and up-selling

· Ability to build reports and forecast on sales as well as trends.

· Effectively manage a formal referral system.

· Confer with customers and engineers to assess and customize solutions for each customer

The Ideal Candidate

· Excellent negotiations skills

· Excellent presentation, planning, and organisation skills

· Strong analytical skills.

· Strong relationship management ability.

· Must have good understanding of Electrical Engineering, Electrical Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy

Qualifications

· Matric

· Formal sales training is preferred – in Electrical Engineer is a distinct advantage

· Minimum of 10 years of sales experience required, preferably in the electrical solutions industry
