Job overview:

Administer and manage the customer quotation process to ensure the highest level of quality service through the accurate and on-time delivery of all customer quotes - to ultimately achieve increased revenue through sales. Provide administrative support to the Business Development team. Provide internal

sales support, as required. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies, to enhance customer service, increase sales and efficiency and the overall profitability of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Reports to and acts under the Head of Business Development and accepts limited functional direction from the Sales Managers. All other decisions must be in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, and those of the company’s customers
• Primary point of contact for Request for Quotations (RFQ’s)
• Check all RFQ’s for completeness and clarify any queries with the customer before it is sent to the Technical and Procurement Departments for action
• Collaborate and coordinate the quoting process with all internal stakeholders
• Check all quotes for completeness, accuracy and professionalism, before sending it to customers
• Follow-up outstanding quotes with responsible Sales team members to conclusion
• Investigate and evaluate alternative solutions to improve the overall customer experience
• Complete the National Quote Sheet, CRM, and CRM Dashboard
• Compile sales reports and presentations, as required
• Send back order reports to customers, as required
• Complete marketing reports and analytics are directed
• Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, accommodation, visas, vehicle hire, etc.
• Acts as the primary and secondary point of contact for all sales and customer enquiries and requests
• Handle all inbound leads and website enquiries
• Qualify sales leads
• Resolve sales related issues and provide real-time customer support
• Identify efficiencies and cost savings in work processes
• Responsive to all business contacts
• Participate in business improvement initiatives and projects

Qualifications and Experience required:

• Ideally relevant qualification or certification in sales/procurement supported by quantifiable experience in a similar role
• Good commercial acumen and demonstrated organisational ability
• Previous experience in a business-to-business technical sales environment
• Excellent administrative skills
• Advanced skills in MS Office suite
• Proven skills in data research and analytics
• Excellent written and spoken skills in English
• Average typing speed with high accuracy
• Understanding of CRM and ERP systems
