SUMMARY:
Our client in the Agriculture Industry (Meat/Abattoir) is looking for a Farm Manager to join their team in Queenstown

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Matric certificate
Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in position of Sales or Sales Manager
Meat/Abattoir experience will be an advantage but not a requirement
Knowledge of Beef, pork & mutton carcasses/Grading, swinging cuts & Primals Advantageous
Valid Driver's license & own transport
Must be willing to work after hours if require
Fluency in verbal and written English is a non-negotiable
Afrikaans & Xhosa will be advantageous
Must have experience in selling in proportion
Knowledge of whole of Eastern cape for distribution will be preferred
Must be able to manage sales team & work in conjunction with carcass wholesale manager, deboning manager, Abattoir manager & cold store manager
Must be able to update and send out price lists weekly
Will be required to submit weekly sale report & future planning reports for sales going forward
Must be willing to be based in Queenstown
