SUMMARY:
Retail client based on the West Rand is urgently seeking an energetic, Floor Sales Manager. This individual will be responsible for staff management, sales reporting, stock control, daily scheduling, and general store management. Main responsibility would be to manage productivity and sales.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Minimum requirements:

Matric.
Experience within frontline area of retail stores (Floor sales and Cashiers).
Good knowledge of Microsoft office and point of sale software applications.
Knowledge of investigating stock movement, hazard counts as well as stock takes will be beneficial.
Willing to work over weekends.

Characteristics

Proven sales track record.
Balanced and mature behavioural profile.
Energetic/self-motivated and goal oriented.
Ability to work under pressure and put in extra effort to meet tight deadlines.
Excellent verbal and written communication ability.
Ability to identify and resolve problems timeously and accurately.

Duties and responsibilities amongst others:

Managing sales and leading the team by example.
Knowledge of outdoor products and Sport shooting and hunting would give you a competitive edge.
Regular reporting and feedback to store manager.
Daily floor walks and checklist to complete.
Daily backorder checks.
Weekly RFID stock takes.
Daily control of petty cash.
