The Sales Executive is tasked with developing and implementing the student recruitment plan including both sales and marketing, focusing on the achievement of ambitious targets for growth in the College''s student numbers, promoting the brand directly to prospective students as well as to and via third parties such as corporates and municipalities.

Responsible for generating profitable revenue for the business with full management of a team of national salespersons, an associated marketing budget, and via participation in the senior leadership team structures.   

Responsible for the planning, quota setting, reporting, management, sales process optimization, sales training, sales job design, sales program implementation, identification and recruitment of sales force talents, and administration.

Responsible for the overall productivity and effectiveness of the assigned teams within the sales department and reports directly to the COO and relevant stakeholders.

Responsible for directing all sales activities for registrations and ensuring the company''s sales/enrolments grow year on year in line with targets.

Implementation and achievement of the Group Sales strategy including Sales Commission structures.

To assist the sales force in the management and understanding of bottlenecks, inconsistencies, and impediments in processes to enable constant sales process and strategy improvement.

Creating an annual marketing strategy and work collaboratively with the academic team specifically and fostering a culture of continuous process improvement

Ensure that the CRM system is optimally deployed to all sales agents and that sales conversion ratios per sales agent are maintained, monitored and remedial actioned, where necessary

Manage the Discount, Credit Note and Bursary process

Drive the registration process, more specifically the conversion of "Pending" students into "Registered" students

Drive the entry into the corporate and municipal space including managing key accounts directly or collaboratively as may be agreed

Act in the capacity as a senior manager of the business and part of the senior leadership structure. 

Development and Implementation of Sales Strategy for Organisation

Devising and implementing the sales strategy including breaking into the corporate and municipal environments

Creating and deploying an annual marketing strategy and plan for the brand, in line with all academic requirements

Setting revenue targets down to a sales agent level and setting key performance indicators.

Presenting sales results to the Exco as required.

Implementing sales strategies and monitoring effectiveness.

Keeping a close eye on the sales activities, pricing and campaigns of competitors and utilising ideas where appropriate.

Implementing a variety of new business initiatives to drive sales.

Ensuring the organisation has an effective sales training programme.

Working with the Finance Manager on budgeting, forecasting, and planning.

Implementing an effective sales pipeline and lead tracking process.

Implementing best practice in sales techniques throughout the department.

Ensures that continuous research is conducted by internal and external resources to determine environmental changes.

Analyse research findings to determine the best locations and functionalities for the field sales force and other specialist sales functions (e.g., call centres).

Communicates approved plan to all departmental staff to prepare for implementation at start of new financial year.

Relationships and Collaboration

Identifies and establishes good working relationships with the sales, finance, and academic departments full collaboration in ensuring that sales targets are maximised.

To coordinates strategic planning activities with the Managing Director, key stakeholders, and relevant cross-functional departments, especially marketing, to align efforts, avoid conflict of interests, and guarantee the success of sales efforts.

Monitor the quality of sales information: Management Information and define data improvement programs.

Development of Sales Operational Plan/Budget

Develop the annual Sales Strategy Plan and Operational /Capex Budget.

Submits implementation plan to Group Sales Executive for discussion and approval.

Formulates and compiles the Annual Sales Turnover Budget and Quarterly forecasts

Formulates and compiles the Annual Sales Operational Expense Budget including the sales commission and incentive budgets.

Monitors the daily Sales turnover and income statistics and implements the necessary advertising, promotional and sales support decided upon to correct non-performance.

Submits monthly turnover and income statistics to the Managing Director and explain variances to both budget and forecasts.

Manage the Discount, Credit Note and Bursary process, in line with the Group policy.

Drive the registration process, more specifically the conversions from "Pendings" into "Registered" students.

Provide reports to the Managing Executive including the daily sales, monthly analysis of sales and daily reports on statistics of 1st year intake, 2nd year intake & 3rd year intakes as well as rollover and retention percentages

Manages the monthly Sales Commission payment calculations per campu
