SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading international mobile services provider is looking for an experienced sales and channel manager to onboard their dynamic sales team in SA.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Purpose

Responsible for selling functions to carrier clients. To achieve revenue and target assigned by the company. Maintain good customer relationship and support daily selling works.

 Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Present the company brand to South Africa’s carrier players. Manage relation with clients, acquire RFP invites, present feasible and competitive solutions, approach bid until seal deals.
  • Understand own network capability as well as resale in wholesale Telecom market. Business scopes cover capacity, IP Transit, IP-VPN, Internet, Colocation, Mobile (voice trading exclusive) in MEA region. Achieve annual sales target.  
  • Explore new business opportunities and forge relations with target clients by networking and presenting of the company’s service and capability. Develop new carrier to carrier sales opportunities from allocated African carrier clients.
  • Primary contact point to carrier partners/clients, interface and organize all commercial issues requested by/to partners/clients.
  • Work closely to the Headquarter in Hong Kong to maximize business performance as well as achieve sales target as assigned towards the business goals.
  • Carry out daily pricing works to each carrier clients. Coordinating with multiple internal departments to ensure the customers’ required proposals are submitted in time and ensure the winning of the opportunities.
  • Manage contracts with carrier partner/clients. Ensure all the internal sales process being done as per company polices.

 

 Qualification and Skills requirements:

  • Degree or above in IT, Business Administration, Marketing Management, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales in telecom industry, at least 3-year hands-on sales experience in carrier or wholesale telecom market.
  • Technical skills in having solid understanding of Telecommunication networks on 3G, 4G network, knowing 5G network is a plus.
  • Computer skills Advanced proficiency in all Microsoft products Excel, Word, Outlook, and MS Projects.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and a good team-player, good interpersonal skills
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Excellent communications and coordination skills.
  • Language Ability Excellent written and verbal communication skill in English.
  • Experience in seling into other African market would be an advantage.
