SUMMARY:
Our Client is looking for a Sales Manager. To plan, lead and direct the management of day-to-day activities of Field Agents and Customer Service Consultants through effective people and branch management in order to foster client centricity, increased productivity and enable operational sales excellence.

Required Qualifications 
Matric
Full FAIS Qualification – 120 NQF Level 5
RE 5

Required experience for the role
Minimum of 2 - 4 years insurance experience.
Minimum of 2 – 4 years management/supervisory experience.
Experience managing at least 12 direct reports.
Experience working in a branch with at least R 1.5 million turnover per annum.
Proven track record of driving sales
Proven track record of people management, performance management, and employee relations experience.
Computer Literacy in MS Office and Intermediate Excel.

The Sales Manager should be able to Induct, develop and support sales agents to meet and exceed performance and productivity standards in order to enable passionate and confident sales entrepreneurs.
Manage and monitor activities of sales agents through market allocation to ensure that each sales agent has adequate and appropriate market access opportunities.
Ensure that the branch meets and exceeds productivity, production and quality targets as determined.
Adhere to high ethical standards and ensure that sales agents comply with all applicable regulations.
Ensure technical product and legislative knowledge is always current in order to advise on the most relevant and innovative client solutions and comply with governance requirements.
Participate in tactical sales planning and implement business plan for the branch as developed and agreed.
Utilize the BI reports to monitor and manage financial performance.
Identify entrepreneurial opportunities in every interaction and remain passionate, resilient, focused, and organized.
Timeously complete all administrative and reporting duties, including sales and marketing data tracking, feedback and business cases related to the role within the agreed timeframes.
