SUMMARY:
Our client, a leading manufacturer, converter and supplier of cellular foam, rubber and plastic film products requires the expertise of an experienced Sales Manager. A relevant tertiary qualification, at least 3 years' industry experience and product knowledge is essential. Excellent benefits.

POSITION INFO:

Manage the sales and marketing function at the Branch and increase sales volumnes in accordance with customer demands and customer budgeted forecasts commensurate with Company''s business plan.

Requirements:

Grade 12 or equivalent qualification
Appropriate Sales/ Marketing Degree or Diploma
At least 3 years'' sales and marketing experience, ideally in a foam plastics environment (not essential)
Must have good communication skills
Must be computer literate i.e. MS office/computer skills (Word, Excel, Syspro etc)
Valid driver’s license is essential

Duties and Responsibilities:

To sell a range of manufactured and specialized products in the following sectors of industry: Construction, defence, shipping, packaging, manufacturing, farming, automotive, etc made up to customer specification.

Managing the Sales and Marketing function of the Branch
Developing new business
Achieving the budgeted objectives
Ensure price lists are up to date
Set the selling process with the Branch Manager
Good product knowledge of cellular foam, rubber and plastic film products
Must have good communication skills
Doing additional duties as deemed necessary
