Sales Intern- Medical Supplies
POSITION INFO:
Location: Western Cape
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager
Duration: 12 Months( Fixed-term internship)

Minimum Requirements:
- Completed BCom degree in Accounting or Marketing(Obtained within the last 3 years)
- South African citizen or valid work authorization
- Valid Code B driver's licence and willingness to travel within the Western Cape
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office( Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Afrikaans and/ or isiXhosa advantageous
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Accompany senior sales representatives on client visits to hospitals, clinics, pharmacies, and private practices
- Assist in identifying and qualifying new leads and sales opportunities
- Support the preparation of quotations, tenders, and pricing proposals
- Conduct product demonstrations and hand out samples under supervision
- Maintain and update the CRM system with client interactions, orders, and pipeline data
- Follow up on customer orders, deliveries, and after-sales queries
- Assist in resolving customer complaints and stock-related issues
- Conduct market research on competitors, pricing, and industry trends
- Assist with sales reporting, forecasting, and analysis of monthly performance against targets
- Support margin and profitability analysis on key accounts (particularly suited to Accounting graduates)
- Assist with trade shows, congresses, product launches, and in-service training events
- Support digital and print marketing campaigns targeting healthcare professionals (particularly suited to Marketing graduates)
